Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery community helping others celebrate freedom from all types of painful hurts, habits and hang-ups. Celebrate Recovery utilizes the biblical truth that we need each other in order to grow spiritually and emotionally. Together we experience life-changing transformation as we learn to apply the Twelve Steps along with biblical comparisons and Eight Recovery Principles based on the teachings of Jesus. God’s healing power leads us to a life of serenity, joy and most importantly, a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We learn to break free from our need to rely on our dysfunctional, compulsive, and unmanageable behaviors as a ‘fix’ for our pain, and turn to Christ, our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power.

Book: Unveiling Grace: The Story of How We Found Our Way out of the Mormon Church by Lynn K. Wilder

Join us to discuss the faith-building story of how a former tenured professor at Brigham Young University, learned the true gospel. This story offers a rare glimpse into the Mormon Church and will help us better understand how to reach out to those who are deceived by the false picture of who Jesus is and what he has done for the world. As always, feel free to come even if you haven’t finished the book, but the discussion emphasis will be on the reading.

Please let us know if you will attend by responding in the Women’s Ministry Group in our Church Center App or contacting Lisa.
