OUR MISSION
18 … “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
OUR VISION
Helping people
Believe the Bible / Belong to Family / Build God’s Kingdom
WHAT MAKES tHIS CHURCH UNIQUE IS OUR PRIORITIES.
Gospel
As human beings we are imperfect and undeserving of God’s love. Thankfully, Jesus lived a perfect life on our behalf. Through the cross he took the punishment we deserve so that we could receive a reward we could never earn. The Gospel says, “We are all more wicked than we are willing to admit, but more loved than we can possibly imagine.”
Family
The church is not a building, it’s the family of God. The Gospel not only makes us children of God, but also brothers and sisters of one another. This means we choose to be vulnerable and honest about our struggles as we seek support from God and others.
Mission
When God adopts us into his family we become part of the body of Christ. It’s important that we remember this body exists for a task. In the same way our physical bodies need exercise in order to be healthy, the body of Christ must exercise itself through mission to avoid growing stagnant.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Doctrine of God
We believe in one God eternally existing as one essence and three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, each of whom is fully God, yet there is one God.
Doctrine of Revelation
God has made Himself known to the world in Jesus Christ, the Scriptures and creation.
Doctrine of Creation and Providence
We believe that God created the world from nothing and governs all things at all times in all places.
Doctrine of Humanity
We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God and possesses intrinsic dignity and worth.
Doctrine of Sin
We believe that sin has fractured all things, leaving the world in desperate need of salvation.
Doctrine of Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
Doctrine of the Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ sent into the world to shine forth the glory of God.
Doctrine of Resurrection and Consummation of the Kingdom of God
We believe that Jesus Christ is returning to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead.
