Media

The Media Technician is responsible for supporting an event or service with graphic projections on the main screen. The media tech is an individual who is comfortable with the basic functions of a computer, and can follow along during worship, preaching, and event services.

  • The regular time commitment of this role is every 2 or 3 Sunday Mornings per month, from 7:15am-12noon.

  • Special Events and Facility Rentals may require technical support, as part of the Technical team, you will be asked to help facilitate events outside of Sundays on occasion.

  • You will need to learn how to use Planning Center (our scheduling app) in order to receive and accept your scheduled services.

  • Knowledge of Power Point, Pro Presenter, and Google is helpful.

  • Training: Will be determined depending on your experience, but should involve a full training session, with 2-4 Sundays of observation and practice.

  • Cross training in more than 1 tech area is always available.

Lighting

The Lighting Technician is responsible for helping to create an atmosphere during events and services at Trinity. Our simplified lighting program allows our Lighting Technician to manage this role with very little training or experience. Some of our Technicians are able to run the lighting program as well as the Media program during events and services.

Sound Technician

The Sound Technician is responsible for managing the sound system for a number of Special Events, Sunday Services, Conferences, Holiday Programs, Drama Productions, and more for Trinity hosted events. Sound needs are not limited to the Sanctuary, and we are often need for amplification in the park, fellowship hall, patio, foyer, and parking lot events.

  • The standard Sunday Services time commitment of this role is every 2 or 3 Thursday Evenings per month from 7:15pm-9:30pm and that following Sunday Morning Service from 7:15am-12noon.

  • Special Events and Facility Rentals often require technical support, as part of the Technical team, you will be asked to help facilitate events outside of Sundays on occasion.

  • You will need to learn how to use Planning Center (our scheduling service) in order to receive and accept your scheduled services.

  • Training: Will be determined depending on your experience, you do not need to have any experience to join this ministry. Full Sound engineering training is available to anyone willing to learn.

  • Cross training in more than 1 tech area is always available.
